frequently asked questions

How much do you charge and do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance but am happy to provide a monthly superbill.

Fees are as follows:

$195 per session for individuals and $225 for couples for a 50-minute session unless scheduled otherwise.

$315 for individuals and $375 for couples for a 90-minute session unless scheduled otherwise.

$395 for individuals and $425 for couples for a 120- minute session unless scheduled otherwise.

You are also entitled to request/receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of services and fees. This document provides additional information (including billing codes) and an estimate of fees for up to 12 months of services.

How long will I need to participate in therapy before I/We feel better?

This varies greatly! Some clients find that they need 3-4 sessions before they feel resolved. This is not the norm, however.  Other times, clients find they need 6 months to a year or longer to explore history, change some rooted patterns and practice more functional ways of living.

Who do you see?
May I include family members in my therapy sessions?

Yes! Including someone in your sessions may be very healing or informative. We can invite someone into your sessions on an "as needed" basis while still working together one-on-one.

I see both individuals over the age of 12, and couples who live in the state of California.   Everyone experiences hard things differently, but hard seasons universally bring past trauma, loss and unresolved pain up to the surface.  I help to lessen suffering and distress so you can be more present to joy, peace, and clarity.

What is Virtual Appointments or Telehealth?

It's therapy done online instead of in person. At this time I am providing all services via secure confidential video platform.  It is very user friendly, as easy as clicking a link.
